SAFETY FOR CHILDREN AND STAFF

Each employee must use a face covering in the workplace.

Group size is limited to 14 in one space. The classroom may be divided into 2 spaces.

All children and staff will be checked prior to entering the program for any observable illness, including cough or respiratory distress, and confirm temperature below 100 degrees.

Children should not come to school if they were given medicine to reduce a fever. If a family member tests positive, the child must stay home for 14 days.

Enhanced cleaning and disinfection practices shall be implemented. Toys and play surfaces will be cleaned daily. Any object that goes into a child’s mouth will be sanitized.

All staff and children must adhere to regular hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

All staff must cover cough and sneezes with tissue or corner of elbow. We will help children to remember to sneeze and cough into the corner of their elbow.A cot will be provided in Room Matthew for a child that develops a fever. One teacher will stay with the child until a parent arrives.

The Dept. of Public Health and the Office of Early Education will be notified if a staff member or child have Covid symptoms and test positive. Tabor will close based on recommendation from the Dept. of Health.
